Coming up soon are two big events for the Tibetans peoples movement, with march 10 being the anniversary of the 1959 Tibetan uprising in Lhasa, an event that has now become a global day for Tibetan action and support. Tibetan groups around the world will be showing their support for Tibet on this day so if you have ever wanted to get involved in supporting Tibet there is no better day then March 10. The second major event is the Tibetan peoples uprising movement's 6 month walk to Tibet which will be beginning on March 15 this year and will be travelling through India to Tibets borders. This walk is set to be a huge event and one I plan on travelling to India to be a part of.
